CONFIRMATION LITURGY FORM

Please fill out and submit this at least two weeks before the Confirmation. Please fill out every field in this form.

PREPARATIONS: The Bishop will celebrate the Mass.  The Ritual and Chrism will be provided.  You must provide the Sacramentary and Lectionary.  Have 3 slices of lemon, pitcher and basin, and 2 medium-sized towels among the things on the credence table.

ALTAR SERVERS: 5 servers (cross bearer, 2 acolytes, miter bearer and crosier bearer) is the ideal; 1 extra person is needed if incense is to be used.   Practice for the servers will be the responsibility of the pastor.

After the Gospel, the Pastor presents the Candidates.  The Bishop will preach the homily.  If possible, a microphone should be available for his use.  The SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION is now administered.  The Creed is not recited.
