Welcome to the Young Adult Ministry Website for the R. C. Diocese of Ogdensburg, NY.

Please consider revisiting the Website as often as you like to become familiar with and utilize the site and the available resources.

As you’ll notice, through the use of tabs you can access diocesan info and specific info about Young Adult Ministry. You’ll also find: links to other resources, including those outside your parish and even outside the diocese; articles; photo albums; event calendars and registrations; Pod-Casts; Reflections from the Director and Points of Interest.

Young Adults –
This site and its resources are for you. The director and departmental resources are at your disposal. Please consider using them and using them wisely. Our intention and goal is to help you connect with your Church and your Faith, and in so doing, connect with Christ. In order to achieve this, you are encouraged to connect with and plug into your local Parish. To assist in this endeavor, we will work to connect you with each other for support and to help you find a faith connection.
We ask in return that you “Pay It Forward” to help grow your Church, your Parish and your faith. In so doing, I believe that you’ll help create a cycle of love, faith and fellowship. This is our mission and our responsibility as Catholics and as such as part of the Body of Christ.

On the Go with Me & the Podre is a podcast produced by the Office of Young Adult Ministry of the Diocese of Ogdensburg. Each month co-hosts Gib Patenaude and Fr. Chris Looby discuss with special guests matters of faith and spirituality that are important to young adults. March for Life. Every year there is a March for Life in Washington, DC on the anniversary of the Supreme Courts decision that legalized the right for an individual to kill an unborn child. This march is a public witness for those who would like to see the Roe Verses Wade decision over turned and once again restore a culture of life instead of a culture of death.

If you are a young adult (18 and graduated from High School – age 40) then you are most welcome to join the Young Adult Group from the Diocese of Ogdensburg on this pro life pilgrimage to Washington. We will depart from the diocese Tuesday evening, Jan. 20th and will return Jan. 23rd

The suggested donation for the pilgrimage is $75. This includes most meals and three over night accommodations. The pilgrimage will include a visit to the National Shrines of Elizabeth Ann Seton, Grotto of Lourdes and the vigil Mass for Life at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception on Wednesday evening Jan. 21st in addition to the sites of our Nations Capital.
