Youth ministry may very well be the most important ministry for the future of our young people, parishes and communities.  Young people are the future stewards of our world and Church, and it is incumbent upon us as a church community to nurture, guide and support these potential leaders.  The Department of Youth Ministry is committed to providing the parishes of the diocese with the support and resources needed to build and sustain youth-centered, parish-based youth ministry programs.

About the Director

Brian has been involved in youth ministry since 1995 when he was first hired as a part time youth minister in addition to his full time work on the family dairy farm in Chateaugay. In addition to youth ministry he has coordinated religious Ed for grades 7-12 and has directed Confirmation for the past 12 years. He has worked as a counselor at Leadership weekend at Guggenheim and was on the founding staff at Sportscamp. He has been an active member of Bishop Wadham’s Council, Knights of Columbus in Chateaugay holding several leadership positions. On October 2003, he was married to his wife Monique and since has been blessed with three beautiful children, Stephen, 7 Angela, 5 and Paul 3. On September 19th, 2009 he was ordained to the permanent diaconate for service to God’s people in our beloved Diocese where he currently assists in his home parish in the Catholic community of Burke and Chateaugay.
