Adventure, Fun and Faith
Each week-long session provides campers with an incredible mix of faith, fun, and
adventure. Camp activities include swimming, kayaking, canoeing,  hiking, rappelling, arts &
crafts, campfires, dances and much, much more.  Faith formation and growth is at the heart
of the Guggenheim experience and is an important part of every day!  Campers are actively
involved in living out and sharing their faith.  It's what makes Camp Guggenheim so special.

A Typical Day in the Life of A Camper

Afternoon
finds some campers  climbing an Adirondack Peak, while others venture to
nearby islands in our fleet of kayaks. Others are up to their elbows in tie-dye, while their
friends transform the Main Lounge into a dance studio. The artistic in our midst "get
creative" while soccer, volleyball, ultimate Frisbee, and basketball are among the options
for those looking for athletic involvement. Older campers have opportunities to go
rappelling or to plan for an overnight camping excursion. Everyone eventually gathers for
"Beach Time," and a bit of lounging in the sun. Swimming and water volleyball are the
favorites of many, while others chose to soak up some Adirondack sun on the beach. Kayaks,
canoes, and paddleboats, are also available for use. All waterfront activities occur under
the watchful eye of our American Red Cross certified lifeguards."

Evening Events at Camp Guggenheim include the Guggenheim Olympics, a campfire, creative
adventure games, a variety show, and a dance. Special liturgies including Wednesday
evening's Reconciliation service and Thursday evening's celebration of Mass are also
favorites.
Swim. Hike. Praise.
