FAMILY GUGGENHEIM

Family Guggenheim

The Program

Family Guggenheim welcomes families  of all dimensions to celebrate Christ’s presence in their lives.  This quality time is rooted in spirit and joy, providing   simple and gentle outreach to families.

Many activities are offered for families   to participate in together, such as canoe trips, paddle boat rides, and mountain climbing.  There are activities for all ages.

We also celebrate with special liturgies and prayer services.

During these sessions families come together on the shores of Lower Saranac Lake to “Celebrate Family.”

The directors of the sessions are Family Life Directors, Deacon Gary and Gayle Frank, David and Linda Raville & family, and Ron and Michele Gingerich.  Team members include a chaplain, families, and extended family members from throughout the diocese.  Family Guggenheim is sponsored by the Family Life Office of the Diocese of Ogdensburg.

The Location

Family Guggenheim is held at Guggenheim,  a summer camp and retreat center operated by the Diocese of Ogdensburg.  Camp  Guggenheim gives youth and families a place which encourages all to live and proclaim the Gospel of love and concern.  Located on Lower Saranac Lake, the grounds include 150 acres of land and 1,500 feet of lake shore.
